One year after moving to the Premier League for £9million, Alexander Sorloth’s days at Crystal Palace could be numbered.

With the benefit of hindsight, Crystal Palace’s decision to pay £9 million for Alexander Sorloth in January 2018 does not look like a great one (BBC).
Considering that the Norwegian arrived from FC Midtjylland with just hours left in the transfer window, the phrase ‘panic buy’ comes to mind.
Sorloth has managed a grand total of four Premier League starts in a calendar year as a Crystal Palace player, failing to score a single goal.
The fact his 12 appearances this season have all come from the bench is rather damning when you consider how badly Roy Hodgson’s side have struggled for goals.
According to HLN, Sorloth’s days at Selhurst Park could be numbered.
It is understood that Palace are hoping to loan out the 23-year-old this month with Belgian outfit Gent interested.

Interestingly, this would see Sorloth reunite with Jess Thorup, the manager he scored 10 goals in 19 games for at Danish outfit Midtjylland.
A loan move away from Crystal Palace appears to be the right move for Sorloth given that Hodgson has made signing a new striker his top priority this month, as reported by the Mail.
