Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace need a striker and have reportedly targeted Genoa’s Piatek and Eintracht Frankfurt duo Jovic and Ante Rebic.

Finding a striker capable of firing Crystal Palace to safety is proving to be easier said than done.
A centre-forward is a must for The Eagles in the January transfer window but manager Roy Hodgson confirmed last week that they had pulled out of a deal for Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke (Football London), who then joined Bournemouth for £19 million.
So you can understand why the supporters have been left frustrated. But Sky Sports has now provided a very promising update, claiming that three red-hot overseas forwards are on Crystal Palace’s radar with the London club looking abroad for top quality signings.
It is understood that Palace have scouted Polish goal-machine Krzysztof Piatek on eight occasions thjs season with the 23-year-old proving to be a revelation in his first season with Genoa. Piatek has scored 19 times in just 21 games.

Furthermore, Palace are reported to have looked at the prolific Eintracht Frankfurt forward Luka Jovic (below), the so-called ‘Serbian Falcao’ who has hit the net 17 times already. A natural-born goalscorer, Jovic has also been linked with Bayern via Bild.
Jovic’s Frankfurt team-mate, the hard-working Croatian forward Ante Rebic, is also understood to be on Crystal Palace’s radar. Rebic was one of the breakout stars at last summer’s World Cup and scored twice as Frankfurt stunned Bayern in the DFB Pokal final last season.
Whether any of the three arrives at Selhurst Park remains to be seen. Sky adds that Palace have doubts about whether Piatek is aggressive enough while Jovic could be too expensive.
