Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has been linked with Crystal Palace and Roy Hodgson certainly needs strikers.

Much like last summer, it has been another frustrating transfer window for Crystal Palace fans. With just over a week to go, The Eagles have only welcomed one new face to Selhurst Park – and a deal for the former Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita had been tied up in January anyway.
Though it seems that Palace are belatedly set to make their market on the transfer market.
Turkish publication Haber7 reported that they have agreed a £12 million deal to sign Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza and the Brazilian could be joined at Selhurst Park by the German international Max Meyer, who has held positive talks with the club’s hierarchy, according to the Guardian.
The Guardian adds that Palace are still retaining an interest in the Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham, who was first linked with a move to Roy Hodgson’s side six weeks ago.
The trail has grown cold since then but it is reported that Crystal Palace are still hopeful that a deal can be reached. The London club struggled badly for goals from their strikers last season with Connor Wickham on the sidelines and an out-of-form Christian Benteke netting just two throughout 2017/18.

Abraham might not have set the world alight on loan at Swansea but his 26-goal spell at Bristol City in 2016/17 shows that he knows where the goal is.
With Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud and Michy Bathsuayi all at Chelsea for the time being, another temporary exit makes sense.
