Premier League side Crystal Palace need more firepower and believe signing Italy international Eder from Serie A giants Inter Milan is the way forward.

It has been a busy day for Crystal Palace, with a whole host of players linked with moves to Selhurst Park.
And according to Corriere dello Sport (19th January, page 6), an Italian international striker is on the Eagles’ wish list as manager Roy Hodgson aims to add some firepower to his squad.
It is understood that Palace have made a bid just shy of £10 million to sign Eder from Serie A giants Inter Milan.

The Nerrazzuri are keen to bring in Daniel Sturridge from Liverpool, who will demand a hefty loan fee. So Inter are trying to raise funds by getting a couple of fringe players off their books, with Joao Mario heavily linked with a temporary move to West Ham United.
And Eder could follow the Portuguese playmaker to London this month. The Brazil-born 31-year-old, who shone for Italy at Euro 2016, has scored just one goal in Serie A this season with all of his 15 appearances for Inter coming from the bench.
The former Sampdoria man was hardly a regular last season either, starting just 13 league games, but has tumbled even further down the pecking order since Luciano Spalletti took over at the San Siro.

Eder is not the most prolific of attackers, netting just 10 times in Serie A during two-and-a-half years as an Inter player. But, then again, he is not a natural centre-forward.
The diminutive schemer is more a link man, someone who is adept at playing in behind a big targetman like Christian Benteke and bringing wingers and attacking midfielders into the game.
