A number of Premier League clubs reportedly want Liverpool striker Danny Ings but it is reported that Crystal Palace are in pole position.

Danny Ings might have endured a nightmare couple of years with injuries, but that does not mean he is short of offers as he prepares to bid farewell to Liverpool before the transfer window shuts.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Leicester City and Newcastle United are all interested. It is reported that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the hard-working forward, but will reluctantly sanction a sale because he cannot offer Ings the guaranteed game-time he craves.
The question is, however, where will the former Burnley star end up?
Goal states that Crystal Palace are leading the chase. It is claimed that Crystal Palace are ‘likely’ to sign Ings for a fee of £20 million this summer.

Palace have certainly come to life in the market of late, landing Cheikhou Kouyate from West Ham, and pulling off one of the most eye-catching coups of the summer with the out-of-contract German international Max Meyer also arriving at Selhurst Park.
Ings would give Roy Hodgson the instinctive poacher he desperately needs. Christian Benteke netted just twice in a dismal 2017/18 season while Connor Wickham missed the entire campaign through injury.
£20 million would obviously be a big risk for a player who has started just six Premier League games in the last three seasons. But, if Ings can get back to full fitness, he could be exactly what Palace are looking for.
