Tottenham Hotspur will loan Kyle Walker-Peters to Premier League rivals Crystal Palace if Mauricio Pochettino secures a new right-back.

Crystal Palace are leading the race to sign Kyle Walker-Peters if Tottenham Hotspur allow the young defender to leave on loan before Thursday’s transfer deadline, according to the Sun (7 August, page 53).
With just 24 hours to go until the window shuts, we still have no idea who will be Spurs’ number one right-back next season.
Kieran Trippier has gone already, joining Atletico Madrid, while the Sun reports that Serge Aurier will be allowed to return to Paris Saint-Germain just two years after leaving the Parc des Princes.
So academy graduate Walker-Peters must have been hoping for a chance to prove himself over a prolonged period in Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI.
But, according to The Sun, Tottenham are instead planning to sign a new right-back in the final few hours of the transfer window amid likes with Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj and Nice flyer Youcef Atal.

And if all goes to plan, Walker-Peters will be allowed to leave on loan with Crystal Palace, who still haven’t managed to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka, at the front of the queue.
A short term move to Selhurst Park could be exactly what the London-born 22-year-old needs. Walker-Peters has started just six Premier League games in two years in Spurs’ first-team plans but Crystal Palace could offer him the guaranteed match action he is crying out for.
