Premier League outfit Crystal Palace could finally replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka with Olympiakos’s Norway star heading to Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace appear to be close to finally, finally signing a right-back to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
According to The Sun (live blog, 7.30pm), The Eagles are in talks with Olympiakos’ Norway international Omar Elabdellaoui as they look to lure him to Selhurst Park before Thursday’s 5pm deadline.
It has been a frustrating six weeks for Palace fans. Since Wan Bissaka left for Manchester United over a month ago, Roy Hodgson’s side have tried and failed to snap up the likes of James Justin, Max Aarons and Timothy Castagne.
But it seems there has been a breakthrough at last with just a few hours remaining.
An attack-minded 27-year-old, Elabdellaoui ticks a lot of boxes for Palace. He’s experienced and a decent source of creativity down the flanks, producing five goals and seven assists in all competitions for Olympiakos last season.

Elabdellaoui has experience in English football too. He started his career in Manchester City’s academy before enjoying a loan spell at Hull City in 2016/17.
With Hodgson filling two gaps in midfield with the long-awaited signings of James McCarthy and Victor Camarasa on Wednesday, Elabdellaoui is another key piece of the jigsaw.
Now, Palace just need a striker.
