Fulham are desperate to keep hold of Aleksandar Mitrovic but Premier League Crystal Palace want the Newcastle United outcast too.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has hardly hid his admiration for Newcastle United forward Aleksandar Mitrovic.
“They have Mitrovic, who probably produced the best display of target play I have seen for a long while the other night, using his body well to hold the ball up and either turn the defender, or bring others into the play – a bit like Alan Shearer really,” Hodgson said.

So it isn’t much of a surprise to learn that Crystal Palace are interested in signing Mitrovic this summer as Newcastle look for a buyer for their out-of-favour forward.
The Chronicle states that Fulham would love to sign Mitrovic this summer. The Serbian international scored 12 times in 18 games since moving to Craven Cottage on loan in January, leading the club back to the Premier League via a playoff final win against Aston Villa at Wembley.

A striker is a must for Palace this summer. Christian Benteke scored just two Premier League goals in a dismal 2017/18 campaign while Connor Wickham’s injury problems have put him in ‘forgotten man’ territory.
