Christian Benteke has not scored a single goal in seven Premier League games for Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace this season.

Crystal Palace are still hoping to sell Christian Benteke to China before the end of this month, according to Het Laaste Nieuws.
2018/19 has been another dismal season for the goal-shy Belgian international, who has failed to score in nine appearances in all competitions. Palace produced arguably their best performance of the season on Saturday, beating Leicester City 4-1 at the King Power Stadium, and it is telling that Benteke did not get off the bench.
HLN reports that the Eagles are hoping they will receive a bid from the Far East before the Chinese transfer window shuts on the final day of February.
Benteke has been linked with a move to the CSL before, the Sun claiming two years ago that Beijing Guoan had offered a staggering £40 million.

These days, however, it seems very unlikely that Palace would make a profit on a striker they paid £27 million for in the summer of 2016 (the Guardian), bringing an end to his disappointing spell at Liverpool.
HLN adds that the former Aston Villa star would prefer to remain in London but that decision could soon be taken out of his hands.
