Monaco’s World Cup winning right-back Djibril Sidibe could reportedly be heading to the Premier League with West Ham United or Crystal Palace.

Crystal Palace have turned their attention to Monaco’s Djibril Sidibe as they look to replace Aaron Wan-Bissaka at Selhurst Park, according to France Football, with West Ham United also interested.
It has been a frustrating summer so far for Palace fans. Not only has Wan-Bissaka, a homegrown crowd favourite, been sold to Manchester United, it seems that Roy Hodgson’s side are no closer to finding a replacement.
Norwich City flyer Max Aarons has committed his future to Carrow Road by signing a new, long-term contract while Timothy Castagne now looks set to stay at Atalanta.
And time will tell whether Palace will have any more luck with French World Cup winner Sidibe.
Two years ago, Sidibe was a Champions League semi-finalist and a Ligue 1 winner, emerging as one of the most promising and coveted right-backs in the game. France Football claim he was a target for Manchester United and Atletico Madrid as recently as last summer.

But the 26-year-old suffered more than most as Monaco went from title challengers to relegation candidates in 2018/19, his price-tag dropping to a comparatively measly £13 million.
The report adds that West Ham United are interested too but, given that The Hammers already have Pablo Zabaleta and Ryan Fredericks, Selhurst Park could be the better move for a player looking to restore his reputation as one of the planet’s best full-backs.
