Premier League giants Liverpool are set to let Anderson Arroyo move to Jupiler League outfit Gent, according to reports.

Belgian side Gent already have one Liverpool youngster on loan and it seems that they are about to land another.
21-year-old Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi (above) moved to the Jupiler League outfit on loan in the summer after signing a five-year deal with The Reds and has enjoyed an impressive start to life in Belgium.
Awoniyi scored a crucial goal in Gent’s Europa League qualifying victory against Polish outfit Jagiellonia Bialystok – and looks set to be joined by another highly-rated Anfield youngster.
According to Goal, Colombian defender Anderson Arroyo is close to joining Gent, who reached the knockout rounds of the Champions League as recently as 2017.
Liverpool competed the signing of the exciting South American in February from Colombia outfit Fortaleza. However, he needs to obtain a work permit before being allowed to play in England and The Reds are set to send him to Belgium after a 13-game spell with Real Mallorca’s B team last season.

Goal adds that Liverpool believe that playing first-team football in Belgium will quicken the removal of the red tape that is currently preventing Arroyo from making his move to Merseyside.
And if Arroyo can make the sort of start Awoniyi has enjoyed, he will quickly be a fans’ favourite.
