The battle to sign Garry Rodrigues is hotting up with three Premier League clubs battling it out for one of the most in-demand targets in European football right now.

And fortunately for West Ham, Everton and Newcastle United, Turkish Football is claiming to have been informed that Galatasaray will sell the Cape Verde international at the end of what has been a stellar individual season.

This comes just three days after West Ham had a £10 million bid rejected for the winger.

Fotomac also claimed that Everton have been scouting Rodrigues a lot recently at Sam Allardyce’s demand, while a Newcastle side who had bids rejected in each of the last two transfer windows for the 27-year-old are planning a third offer this summer, per Milliyet.

So expect the pursuit of Rodrigues to rumble on over the coming weeks and months, particularly as Turkish Football are reporting that Galatasaray have identified that Anderlecht midfielder Trezequet as his successor.

The journeyman Rodrigues, who signed for the Istanbul giants from Greek outfit PAOK in January last year, has six goals and eight assists to his name this season.

And reports have suggested that Galatasaray value him at around the same fee that Stoke City paid for Badou Ndiaye in January, in the region of £16 million.
