Cenk Tosun scored just three Premier League goals for Everton last season but is a return to Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas on the cards?

Cenk Tosun is ready to take a pay cut in order to re-join Besiktas from Everton this summer, according to Sporx.
The much-maligned striker is facing an uncertain future at Goodison Park after a miserable 2018/19 campaign under Marco Silva. In 29 games, Tosun only scored four goals as he made a mockery of his £27 million price tag (Sky Sports).
Last season’s struggles were in stark contrast to his prolific form for Besiktas, who Tosun fired to successive Super Lig titles in 2016 and 2017.
The Turkish international scored 64 times in just three-and-a-half years for the Istanbul giants with his remarkable record in the Champions League marking him out as a modern-day club legend.

And, according to Sporx, Tosun would jump at the chance to return to the Vodafone Arena. The report adds that the 27-year-old would accept a weekly wage of around £40,000 a week at Besiktas, which is apparently far less than he currently earns on Merseyside.
It remains to be seen whether Everton will left Tosun leave but reports back in January from the Liverpool Echo suggested that they would be willing to accept a cut-price fee of £20 million.
