Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic are reportedly set to sign Karpaty Lviv winger Shved for a fee of £1.75million.

Celtic fans have been left largely underwhelmed as Karpaty Lviv winger Maryan Shved closes in on a move to Parkhead.
According to the Scottish Sun, Celtic will pay £1.75 million for the 21-year-old despite the fact that Brendan Rodgers is hardly short of options out wide.
Sky Sports claim that Shved was undergoing a medical on Monday with the transfer appearing to be all but complete.
And, in an interesting twist, it seems that this little-known Ukrainian was recommended to Celtic by arguably the biggest footballing star in his country’s history.
According to the Scottish Daily Mail (29 January, page 78), Shved has arrived in Celtic after the legendary Andriy Shevchenko told the Hoops to have a look.

One of the most feared strikers in Europe during his time at AC Milan, Shevchenko is now the manager of the Ukrainian national team and handed Shved his debut against Turkey back in November of last year.
So Shevchenko, who played alongside world class professionals throughout his career, can surely be trusted identify a promising talent when he sees one.
