Jeremy Toljan hasn’t played a Bundesliga game for Dortmund this season and Celtic could attempt to bring him to the Scottish Premiership this January.

Celtic are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund’s Jeremy Toljan as their search for a new right-back hots up, according to the Scottish Daily Mail (29 January, page 78).
The Hoops have been linked with a number of players this month as they look to find a long-term replacement for veteran Swede Mikael Lustig.
But, after failing to bring in Atalanta’s Timothy Castagne, Olympiakos’ Omar Elabdellaoui and Lech Poznan youngster Robert Gumny, the Mail believes that there is a new name in the frame; the speedy and versatile Toljan.
The 24-year-old defender has been a Borussia Dortmund player since he arrived from Hoffenheim in 2017 for a fee understood to be around £4.5 million.

But, despite being able to play on the left or the right flank, Toljan has struggled to establish himself at the Bundesliga leaders. Toljan made a series of mistakes during the ill-fated reign of Peter Bosz and has not featured in a single league game since Lucian Favre took over at the start of this season.
The Mail claim that the Stuttgart-born flyer has been told he can leave on loan this month, however, which might just pave the way for a move to Glasgow.
