Is Robert Gumny Celtic’s long-term replacement for Michael Lustig? The Scottish Premiership champions are reportedly interested.

Lech Poznan ace Robert Gumny is the latest right-back on Celtic’s radar, according to Polish publication Gazeta Wyborcza.
The Hoops have been linked with a whole host of players who could potentially replace the long-serving Mikael Lustig but, according to the Daily Record, deals for Atalanta ace Timothy Castagne and Olympiakos’s Omar Elabdellaoui appear to be dead with Celtic priced out.
The Scottish Premiership champions will hope that Gumny is a cheaper option then with the report claiming that they are willing to offer around £4.3 million for his signature.
A baby-faced 20-year-old who can also play at left-back, he rose through the ranks at local outfit Lech Poznan and has established himself in the starting XI this season, appearing five times in the Ekstraklasa after returning from a serious knee injury.

The report adds, however, that Poznan want to keep Gumny this month. He was close to joining Bundesliga giants Borussia Monchengladbach last summer, only for the deal to collapse.
Celtic’s need for a new right-back was reinforced this week as Anthony Ralston suffered ligament damage in the 4-0 thrashing of St Mirren.
