Rodgers is determined to ensure Celtic don’t miss out on Dundee defender Jack Hendry with Premier League trio circling.

£1.5 million is merely pocket change to most clubs these days.
But it’s a reflection of the financial disparity between Scotland and England that Celtic are refusing to pay the sort of fee most Championship clubs would find down the back of the sofa.
But if Celtic stand firm in their refusal now, they could miss out on the classy defender for good.

So, perhaps concerned that Hendry could slip through their grasp, TEAMtalk adds that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has instructed the clubs’ hierarchy not to miss out on the former Wigan Athletic talent.
Rodgers, who described Hendry as ‘outstanding’ when Celtic beat Dundee 1-0 back in October, believes the youngster has the potential to be a future star.

So with the report claiming that Celtic are now preparing a third bid for Hendry before the month is out, it will be interesting to see whether they finally agree to stump up £1.5 million.
Per the Daily Record, Celtic offered £800,000 last time and will need to almost double that bid.
