Could Scottish Premiership champions Celtic succeed in convincing Abel Hernandez to leave Hull City and England this summer?

Abel Hernandez is seemingly not short of offers with his contract at Hull City due to expire.
Leeds Live claimed that Leeds United have made an offer for the prolific striker and Aston Villa are interested too, while Tuttomercatowb reported recently that Wolves have put a contract on the table worth £2.5 million a year.
But despite heavy interest from England, there still appears to be a decent chance that Hernandez will end up at Celtic this summer instead.

Because of Celtic’s ‘overseas’ status, they are permitted to approach Hernandez before his contract expires on 30 June, while clubs from south of the border have to wait until his deal ends before they can officially make their move.

So Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops have around five weeks to tempt Hernandez with the green and white jersey before the free-for-all begins.
Hernandez has proved to be an excellent source of goals at Championship level and should thrive at Parkhead if he makes the move this summer.
