Celtic are at risk of losing one of their most exciting youngsters with Vincent Angelini attracting interest from clubs south of the border, according to the Daily Record.

The teenage goalkeeper has risen through the ranks at Parkhead and has been tipped by some to follow fellow wonder-kid Karamoko Dembele into the club’s first-team plans sooner rather than later.

But reports from Scotland are suggesting that Angelini could be on his way out of Celtic, despite being offered a two-year deal to stay with the Premiership champions.

The nephew of Celtic legend Davie Hay, the Daily Record claims that clubs in England and Italy are interested in the highly-rated shot-stopper.

The report adds that Angelini is leaning towards committing his future to Celtic as it stands but Hoops fans should not relax until his contract extension is signed, sealed and delivered.

Celtic have lost so many players to English clubs over the years with Stuart Armstrong, Virgil Van Dijk, Gary Hooper and Victor Wanyama all being lured away by the bright lights of the Premier League in the last few years.
