Does Robert Snodgrass have a future at Premier League club West Ham United? Cardiff City are reportedly keen to find out.

Thanks to Aston Villa’s Championship play-off final defeat to Fulham, Robert Snodgrass’s future is up in the air.
It was expected that Villa would make a move to sign the West Ham winger on a permanent basis should they be promoted back to the Premier League. But a failure to escape the Championship means the Midland giants now cannot afford Snodgrass, according to the Telegraph.

It is understood that newly promoted Cardiff City, who finished two places and seven points higher than Villa last season, have made Snodgrass one of their top summer targets.
Neil Warnock, who admitted that he ‘could have cried’ when his Leeds United side sold Snodgrass to Norwich in 2013, wants a player with Premier League experience and is keen on a reunion with the 30-year-old, who is valued at £12 million by West Ham.

Whether the Hammers are willing to cash in, however, remains to be seen. Football London reported recently that new West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini was keen to give Snodgrass – who produced a league best 14 assists in the Championship last season – a second chance to prove himself in claret and blue.
The winger signed from Hull City in January 2016 but he has made just eight league starts for the club.
