After one season in the Championship with Brentford, Premier League duo Bournemouth and Burnley want winger Ollie Watkins.

Ollie Watkins’ excellent debut season for Brentford has made him a target for Premier League clubs this summer.
The Bees fought off competition last summer to land the EFL Young Player of the Year from Exeter City for £1.8 million (Sky Sports) and the winger has made the step up from League Two to the Championship look easy.
Watkins has scored 10 goals and set up another four in his debut season at second tier level, but with Dean Smith’s Brentford seemingly set to miss out on a place in the play-offs, clubs from the division above are hoping to tempt the 22-year-old away from Griffin Park just 12 months after he arrived.

According to TEAMtalk, Premier League duo Burnley and Bournemouth are both interested and would be willing to pay £10 million – meaning Brentford would almost quadruple their investment in Watkins after just a year.
Burnley have had an excellent season and look set for a place in the top half while Bournemouth appear more than likely to be staying in the Premier League next season, though extra cutting edge could be required with both sides finding goals a little hard to come by this season.

And Watkins, a who scored 15 times in an excellent breakthrough season for Exeter in 2016/17, should enhance the attacking options of either Sean Dyche or Eddie Howe.
TEAMtalk report that Brentford already have a replacement lined up too, having made an approach for Colchester United talisman Sammie Szcmodics. The 22-year-old has scored 13 goals in League Two this season.
