Newcastle United are reportedly planning to raid Premier League rivals Bournemouth for Josh King – who have a West Brom striker in mind.

Newcastle United’s hopes of signing Josh King from Bournemouth this summer have just received another boost.
Now, reports in the Sun are claiming that Bournemouth have already identified a replacement for King.

It is understood that Howe has picked Jay Rodriguez, the one-time England international forward who was one of the few bright lights for West Brom as they were relegated from the Premier League last season.
Rodriguez is also valued at £20 million so Bournemouth could fund a deal for the former Southampton striker by cashing in on King.

Newcastle owner Mike Ashley has promised to back ambitious manager Rafa Benitez in the transfer market and now is his chance to prove that his bite is as strong as his bark.
King has scored 22 goals in the last two Premier League seasons and would give Newcastle some much needed quality in attack, where Dwight Gayle and Joselu toiled for much of last season.
