Sergio Lopez has reportedly been offered a route out of La Liga giants Real Madrid by AFC Bournemouth.

Sergio Lopez might have enjoyed an impressive International Champions Cup campaign with Real Madrid, but the fact is that first-team opportunities would be fleeting at the Bernabau in 2018/19.
The 19-year-old Spaniard is a right-back after all, the position Dani Carvajal has made his own for club and country in recent years. It doesn’t help that Madrid have recently paid Real Sociedad £40 million for Alvaro Odriozola either.
Nonetheless, that does not mean the reigning Champions of Europe are willing to sell.
According to Marca, Madrid have rejected an offer of £4.5 million, rising to £8 million, from Premier League outfit Bournemouth.
This comes shortly after Sergio Lopez signed a new contract with Los Blancos until 2022. So, even if Bournemouth are willing to raise their offer, they could be fighting a losing battle with Real clearly rating Lopez very highly.

The Cherries have been scouring La Liga for talent this summer, bringing in Leganes left-back Diego Rico for £10.7 million. And they look set to finally sign Colombia enforcer Jefferson Lerma for £25 million from Levante.
According to the Mirror (6 August, page 46), Lerma is set to undergo a medical on Monday.
