Clyne is a man Cardiff manager Neil Warnock knows well. The veteran gaffer gave the England international his professional debut during his time in charge of Crystal Palace 11 years ago.
The Mail adds that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is willing to let Clyne go with the former Southampton defender, who moved to Anfield for £12.5 million in 2015 (BBC), behind Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez in the pecking order.
