Premier League outfit Bournemouth are keen to bring Scott Sinclair to the Vitality Stadium from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic this summer.

Scott Sinclair seems to be facing something of an uncertain future at Celtic.

The Sun claimed last month that the former Manchester City, Aston Villa and West Brom winger had grown unsettled in Scotland and was keen on a return to England with Bournemouth and Brighton keeping close tabs on the situation.

But Sinclair came out soon after and played down speculation that he is angling for a move, admitting that he is happy in green and white after winning a treble, the Scottish Premiership Golden Boot and the SPFA Player of the Year award last season.

Celtic will still have wanted to avoid fending off bids for Sinclair this summer with Premier League clubs most likely being able to put higher wages and greater exposure on the table.

And their summer may just have gotten a little easier with reports in TEAMtalk suggesting that Bournemouth have now turned their attention towards another goalscoring winger – Brentford’s Ollie Watkins.

It is understood that Watkins will make a £10 million move to England’s top flight this summer after an excellent 10-goal debut season at Griffin Park.

The 22-year-old, like Sinclair, plays on the left of the attack – so it seems a case of one or the other for Bournemouth this summer.

And with TEAMtalk claiming that Watkins seems likely to leave Brentford for a major profit, Celtic could be one step closer to keeping Sinclair if Bournemouth snap up the former Exeter City starlet.
