Liam Boyce has three League One goals already for Burton Albion this season and could return to the Championship with Bolton Wanderers.

Liam Boyce is putting his injury issues behind him and showing Burton Albion fans why the club made him their record signing a year ago.
The Northern Ireland international arrived at the Pirelli Stadium for around £500,000 from Ross County after a stellar 2016/17 season. Boyce had scored 23 goals in 34 league games for The Staggies, winning the Scottish Premiership’s Golden Boot.
A serious knee injury restricted him to just 16 games and three goals in his debut season at Burton however but Boyce is finally fit and firing. The 27-year-old has equalled his tally from the previous campaign already with just five games played in League One.
And that form has allegedly caught the eye of Bolton Wanderers.
That is according to Sky Sports (live blog, 9.50pm), who state that Bolton have made an enquiry in the hope of signing Boyce on loan with a view to a permanent move in January.

Burton, understandably, will attempt to resist any offers for their star striker.
Phil Parkinson’s Bolton have never really replaced Gary Madine, the influential number nine who left for Cardiff City back in January. They also lost Adam Le Fondre to Sydney FC earlier this month.
