David Nugent and Tom Huddlestone could reportedly be on their way out of Derby County to Championship opponents Stoke City and Bolton Wanderers

Derby County could bid farewell to two of their most experienced players before the transfer window shuts at the end of August.
The Mail claimed on Monday that Derby were open to letting Tom Huddlestone reunite with Gary Rowett at Stoke City, the 31-year-old having failed to feature in any of Frank Lampard’s three Championship games in charge of The Rams.
And The Sun believes that David Nugent could be on his way too.
It is reported that Bolton Wanderers are in talks with Derby about a deal for the 33-year-old, who is one of the highest earners in Derby’s squad. The Sun adds that Bolton would only be able to pay around half of Nugent’s salary should the experienced striker move to the Macron Stadium on loan until the end of the season.

Nugent has started just one of Derby’s Championship games in 2018/19 but scored a terrific goal off the bench in the 2-1 defeat to Millwall on Saturday. He is now behind summer recruits Martyn Waghorn and Jack Marriott in the pecking order.
Phil Parkinson’s Bolton, however, have enjoyed a dream start to the season, winning away at West Brom and Reading. And Nugent could be a much needed goal threat for a side who hasn’t had a reliable goalscorer since Gary Madine left for Cardiff in January.
