Championship outfit Middlesbrough are reportedly set to lose one of their most exciting talents with Brahimi heading to Ligue 1 club Reims.

Bilal Brahimi has arrived in France as the Middlesbrough winger closes in on a move to Reims, according to France Football.
With Jonathan Woodgate replacing Tony Pulis at the helm, Boro are expected to make an array of exciting young talents central to their first-team plans next season.
Woodgate has big plans for centre-half Dael Fry and promising winger Marcus Tavernier. But, unfortunately for the former Real Madrid defender, it looks increasingly unlikely that he will be able to call on Brahimi.
The Paris-born 19-year-old joined Middlesbrough two years ago but, after failing to make a single Championship appearance, it appears that he has jumped on the ferry back for another journey across the channel.
France Football reports that Reims, who finished an impressive eighth in Ligue 1 last season, have offered the left-winger a three year contract. Brahimi has now arrived in France as he closes in on a move away from the Riverside.

The Northern Echo reported recently that Boro were hoping to avoid repeating the mistake Sunderland made when selling top scorer and academy graduate Josh Maja to Bordeaux in January by convincing Brahimi to commit his future to the club. The Black Cats were rather railroaded into Maja’s exit with the striker’s contract running down.
Newcastle United and Liverpool were reported to be interested by TEAMtalk.
But it seems that Middlesbrough’s best laid plans have gone rather awry.
