Nikola Vlasic has started just seven Premier League games for Everton but continues to shine in Russia with CSKA Moscow.

Besiktas are hoping to sign Nikola Vlasic this summer once the Everton player’s spell at CSKA Moscow comes to an end, as reported by Fotomac.
A £10 million signing from Hajduk Split in the summer of 2017, the Croatian is one of many players who struggled to live up to expectations during Farhad Moshiri’s erratic spell at the helm of the Merseyside giants.
After starting just seven Premier League games in a forgettable debut season, Vlasic was quickly farmed out to Russia by Everton head coach Marco Silva – a decision that infuriated the midfielder’s father.
“Nicola told Silva before leaving he considered himself the best midfielder in the team. The manager made a big mistake,” Yoshko Vlasic told Championat in the Autumn.

Vlasic has certainly impressed in Moscow, scoring eight times in all competitions including a winner against Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage. He also shone as CSKA did the double over Los Blancos, setting up a goal in the 3-0 triumph at the Bernabeu.
But, with Vlasic’s spell in Russia coming to an end, Fotomac reports that Besiktas would love to give him a fresh start in Turkey by luring the 21-year-old to Istanbul for the year.
