Swansea City are set to pull off two signings according to reports – Barrie McKay from Nottingham Forest and Manchester City’s Bersant Celina

A lack of creativity was to blame as Swansea City’s seven-year stay in the Premier League came to an end last season. The South Wales side netted just 28 goals in 38 games – a division-low along with Huddersfield Town.
But at least they are taking steps to solve the problem ahead of the new Championship season, which kicks off at the weekend.
According to Wales Online, Graham Potter’s side are closing in on the signing of two much needed attackers which should bring some speed and unpredictability to The Swans’ attack.
It is reported that Barrie McKay is set to join from Nottingham Forest for £500,000. The 23-year-old former Rangers winger, who started brightly at the City Ground before tailing off under Aitor Karanka, is undergoing a medical on Monday.

So too is Bersant Celina, the 10-time Kosovan international who is expected to sign from Premier League champions Manchester City for an initial fee of £3 million, rising to £4 million depending on various clauses. The deals for both Celina and McKay are expected to be announced very soon.
Celina shone during a loan spell in the Championship with Ipswich Town last season, scoring eight times in all competitions, and Swansea will be hoping he has a similar impact at the Liberty Stadium.
