Corentin Tolisso is reportedly dreaming of a move to Premier League giants Liverpool after one season in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.

Liverpool were left frustrated with their failed pursuit of Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir but it seems that his France teammate is also keen on a move to Anfield this summer.

According to Calcio Insider, Corentin Tolisso is interested in swapping Bayern Munich for Liverpool, just one year after he joined the Bundesliga giants for a club-record £41 million fee.

Tolisso, who also played alongside Fekir at Lyon prior to his big-money move to Germany, did not quite make the impression expected of him in Munich. He featured just 17 times in the starting XI for Jupp Heynckes’ side with Arturo Vidal, Javi Martinez and Thiago Alcantara all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Tolisso would fit in perfectly at Liverpool thanks to his high-energy approach and ability to go from box-to-box with ease. The 23-year-old is also renowned for his goal-scoring ability, netting 10 times in all competitions in 2017/18.

And, in a December 2017 interview with Onze Mondial, Tolisso admitted that former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard was one of his idols.

But regardless of whether Tolisso dreams of playing under Jurgen Klopp, it would be a big surprise if the move happened. Liverpool have already spent big on Naby Keita and Fabinho after all, while Bayern surely won’t want to sell a player who has been tipped for a starring role at the Bundesliga champions in the very near future.

Tolisso is currently the most expensive player in Bundesliga history.
