Champions League winners Liverpool have apparently emerged as a preferred destination for Barca’s La Liga winner Ousmane Dembele.

Ousmane Dembele would be keen on a move to Liverpool if he leaves Barcelona this summer, according to TEAMtalk.
Two years after the Catalan giants signed a French wonderkid from Borussia Dortmund for a fee of £97 million (BBC), one of the most talented young forwards in world football is at a crossroads in his career.
Dembele might have produced 14 goals and nine assists in his second season at the Camp Nou but his two-year spell at Barcelona has been undermined by a series of injury problems and question marks about his attitude.
The 22-year-old also copped plenty of the blame for Barca’s remarkable Champions League collapse against, ironically enough, Liverpool, in the semi-finals. The one-time Rennes talisman missed a host of chances in the first-leg with Ernesto Valverde’s side failing to extend a lead that they would eventually throw away.
And TEAMtalk claims that Barcelona could now cash in on Dembele as they look to finance a deal for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.

The report adds that Liverpool are one of the World Cup winner’s preferred destinations. But would Dembele, who is valued at £90 million, be able to force his way into a front-line already containing Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino?
Regardless, Jurgen Klopp could be the coach who helps Dembele become a truly world class talent.
