Former Crystal Palace winger Bakary Sako has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to sign for Championship high-flyers West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion are the most prolific side in the Championship right now, having scored a league-high 20 goals in nine games. And Darren Moore’s side look set to enhance an already impressive attack with Bakary Sako closing in on a move to The Hawthorns.
The Mali international is still a free agent, almost three months after his contract at Crystal Palace expired. But 30-year-old Sako is set to get his career back on track after impressing Moore during a short-term trial period at West Brom.
Sky Sports (live blog, 9.36am) claims that the former Wolves winger has now agreed a deal in principle to return to the Midlands.
And the Baggies are hoping that Sako will be available for their away game against Preston North End on Saturday.

On paper, Sako should be a terrific addition for a West Brom side who are now just a point behind Leeds United at the top of the Championship table. He shone at this level for Wolves, scoring 15 goals and assisting eight during the 2015/16 season to earn that move to Crystal Palace.
If he moves, Sako will be the second free agent West Brom have signed outside the transfer window, joining former Norwich City talisman Wes Hoolahan at The Hawthorns.
