Tottenham Hotspur striker Fernando Llorente appears to be heading out of the Premier League with La Liga outfit Athletic Bilbao wanting to bring him home.

Fernando Llorente has offered a rare display of his talents in a Tottenham Hotspur shirt in the last few games.
The seldom-seen Spaniard scored his first goal of the season with a neat volley in the recent 3-1 League Cup win away at London rivals West Ham United before causing a real nuisance off the bench in the vital Champions League victory against PSV on Tuesday.
Spurs were a goal down to their Dutch opponents at Wembley when Llorente ambled onto the pitch with 15 minutes to go. And it was his knock-down which set up Harry Kane for the first of his match-winning double.
But the 33-year-old could still be on his way out in January.
The Independent reports that Llorente’s contract is due to expire next summer and a return to Athletic Bilbao is on the cards. The former Spain international is a hero at the San Mames, scoring 118 goals in 333 games for the Basque giants, helping them reach the Europa League final in 2012.

The report adds that Bilbao’s long-serving president Jose Urrutia has announced that he will step aside and, with elections for a replacement scheduled in December, candidates are expected to promise a return for Llorente as a potential means of winning public support.
Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera is also been lined up for a return.
