Kortney Hause appears set to leave Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers for Championship promotion hopefuls Aston Villa.

Aston Villa are not waiting around to solve a number of the problem positions left behind by Steve Bruce.
£6 million was paid to secure the signature of Croatian number one Lovre Kalinic from Belgian outfit Gent in late December and it seems that Bruce’s predecessor, Dean Smith, will follow that up with the addition of a much-needed centre-half.
According to the Sun (7 January, page 45), Villa are expected to complete the signing of Kortney Hause from Midland rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.
The England U21 international, who has already agreed personal terms, is understood to be joining on loan and hopes to secure a permanent move to Villa Park should all go well between now and the end of the season.
This will be welcome news to Villa, who appeared likely to miss out on Hause last week.

According to the Mail, Aston Villa were prepared to pay £2 million for the 23-year-old, but local neighbours West Bromwich Albion had made a last-ditch bid to snap him up from under Smith’s nose.
But it seems that West Brom’s loss is set to be Villa’s gain with a deal reportedly closer than ever.
