Preston North End right-back Darnell Fisher has interest from the Premier League, as well as Championship play-off hopefuls Aston Villa.

Preston North End face a real challenge holding onto Darnell Fisher this summer.
The Sun stated recently that Premier League clubs have been tracking the 24-year-old right-back, who had been a regular fixture in Alex Neil’s side last season. It is understood that Preston would be even willing to offer Fisher a new contract and a pay rise to ward off top flight interest in the highly-rated defender.

It is understood that Fisher could find Premier League football difficult to turn down and Villa appear to have a number of targets lined up should they emerge victorious at Wembley.
Interestingly, the Express and Star suggests that the former Celtic youngster, who was let go by Brendan Rodgers in 2016, could be set to replace Alan Hutton at Villa Park.

The long-serving 33-year-old is out of contract this summer but, according to The Mirror, Steve Bruce wants to keep him at the club after some fine performances this calendar year, regardless of what division Villa are in next season.
But the report adds that senior figures are worried about the potential Financial Fair Play implications of offering Hutton a new deal with a disagreement developing between Bruce and the decision makers behind the scenes.
