Aston Villa are set to bring in Axel Tuanzebe from Manchester United, which could see Tommy Elphick join Championship rivals Millwall.

Tommy Elphick is probably enjoying his most impressive spell as an Aston Villa player.
The former Bournemouth skipper has struggled badly since moving to Villa Park in the summer of 2016, but forced his way back into Steve Bruce’s plans over the festive period and stood out in wins against Middlesbrough and Bristol City.
Although there is still a good chance that Elphick could leave this month; particularly as Bruce has already got a replacement in his sights.

Tuanzebe is one of the most talented defenders to have emerged at Old Trafford in years and is rated very highly by manager Jose Mourinho, who recently insisted that a short-term spell away from United would do the youngster some good, as reported by the Sun.

And it appears that there is not enough room for both Tuanzebe and Elphick at Villa Park.
The Telegraph stated last week that Millwall are one of the sides keen to sign the 30-year-old this month and Lions boss Neil Harris should be confident of pulling off a deal with Villa set to bring in Tuanzebe.
