Chalov was the top scorer in Russia last season but could he be rewarded with a move to the Premier League with Arsenal?

Arsenal are interested in reinforcing their front line with CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov, according to Sky Sports.
Given that the Gunners were increasingly reliant on the goals of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the season went on, it is no real surprise that they are hoping to add some depth and firepower to their attack this summer.
And Sky reports that Arsenal could turn to Chalov, who finished as the top scorer in the Russian Premier League last season with 15 goals in 27 starts for fourth-placed CSKA.
Chalov, who came through the ranks at CSKA, also scored against Arsenal in the Europa League last season before finding the back of the net in a famous 3-0 win away at Real Madrid in the Champions League group stages in late 2019.

And a move to the Emirates could be the logical next step for the 21-year-old, who missed out on Russia’s World Cup squad but has since earned two international caps.
Chalov would be the second Russian footballer in Arsenal’s history, following in the footsteps of former winger Andrey Arshavin.
