River Plate and Boca Juniors could face a fight this summer, with Arsenal looking to sign some of their star players.

Arsenal are looking to raid Boca Juniors and River Plate for three of the most exciting talents in the Argentinian top flight this summer with TNT Sports claiming that Nahitan Nandez, Exequiel Palacios and Emanuel Reynoso have emerged as potential targets.
The Gunners will have a budget of just £45 million to spend on new talent this summer after missing out on the Champions League for the third season in a row, as reported by Goal.
So signing a replacement for Aaron Ramsey will be easier said than done. This perhaps explains why Arsenal are looking at South America to sign some more little-known players on affordable deals.
23-year-old Nandez is a combative central enforcer who shone alongside Lucas Torreira for Uruguay at the World Cup last summer. He has spent the last two years at Boca Juniors.

Palacios (above), meanwhile, is a more creative and attack minded player who has been heavily linked with Real Madrid on the back of some sublime performances for River Plate. AS claimed recently that Real had offered £18 million but backed away from a deal after signing Porto’s Eder Militao, who took up their final spot for non-EU players.
And then there is Reynoso, a 23-year-old who plays with Nandez for Boca. He is a central midfielder by trade but can also play on the left.
