England youth star Boyce-Clarke is very highly-rated and has apparently caught the eye of Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United.
Manchester United and Arsenal are both interested in signing young Reading goalkeeper Coniah Boyce-Clarke this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
At the age of just 16, Boyce-Clarke is already earning rave reviews for the Royals’ under-23 side to establish himself as one of the most promising shot-stoppers in English football. He has also helped the Championship outfit to second in the Premier League 2 Division Two table.
But there is a real chance that Boyce-Clarke’s time at the Madejski could be coming to an end, even if Reading have put a new contract on the table.
The Mail claims that Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal are keen to give the teenager his big break with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side impressed by the England U16 star after he produced a fine performance against them recently.
Standing at 6ft 3ins, Boyce-Clarke won the Golden Glove award on the back of his exceptional displays between the sticks for England at the Val de Marne tournament last year in France.
It remains to be seen whether the goalkeeper will decide to stay at Reading or try his hand elsewhere.
