Disposed Greek giants Olympiakos are hoping to bring Apostolos Vellios home from Championship outfit Nottingham Forest and they could be in luck.

Nottingham Forest have struggled for goals all season with only 49 in 45 Championship games.
But despite the fact Daryl Murphy hasn’t scored since November, and the fact that their most prolific player is the Everton loanee Kieran Dowell with just nine, neither Mark Warburton nor Aitor Karanka seemed willing to put their faith in Apostolos Vellios.
The former Everton striker made only one appearance in the first half of this season under Warburton, starting the EFL Cup clash with Shrewsbury Town.

Though Vellios has made 11 Championship appearances since Karanka replaced Warburton at the turn of the year, but only four of those have been starts and he has just one goal to his name.

If SDNA are to be believed, Olympiakos could be in luck with Vellios seemingly having no future in the East Midlands.
Olympiakos had won the Greek league title for the last seven years but their reign of dominancehas been ended this season by AEK Athens.
