Even boyhood Celtic fan Kieran Tierney must be tempted by the idea of playing for Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Celtic’s hopes of keeping Kieran Tierney at Parkhead have just got a whole lot harder. Because, according to the Sun (23 July, page 54) Inter Milan are now keen to lure the Scotland international to the San Siro.
It is no secret that Tierney is living the dream right now. He is a boyhood Celtic fan who has risen through the ranks to become one of the star men for the dominant force of Scottish football, playing a key role as The Hoops won three successive domestic trebles.
But, at 22, there is a sense that that the rampaging left-back is starting to outgrow the relatively small pond north of the border.
Arsenal want to give Tierney the chance to test himself in the Premier League but they have seen two offers, the most recent of which was around £25 million, rejected.
Yet the chance to wear the famous blue and black stripes of Inter would appeal to anyone, even a Glasgow-born Celtic fanatic.

The Nerazzuri are on the rise again, putting together a squad capable of bringing an end to Juventus’s monopolisation of the Serie A title. And, in Antonio Conte, Inter have a game-changing manager capable of turning players like Tierney into established world-class footballers.
Conte is set to introduce his famed 3-5-2 system and Tierney looks like a perfect fit at wing-back.
