West Bromwich Albion are set to bring Egyptian international defender Ali Gabr to The Hawthorns, joining Ahmed Hegazi in the Premier League.

West Bromwich Albion have a real dilemma on their hands.
According to the BBC, there is a clause in Jonny Evans’ contract allowing him to leave for just £3 million if the Baggies are relegated; a prospect which cannot be discounted with Alan Pardew’s side currently level on points with Swansea City at the bottom of the Premier League.
As such, West Brom would be taking a major financial risk if they refused to sell Evans this month, with Manchester City and Arsenal keen on a player currently valued at £23 million.
But even if the Northern Ireland skipper does bid farewell in January, it appears that the Baggies already have a replacement lined up.

Because a deal to sign Egyptian international Ali Gabr from Zamalek looks increasingly likely to go through in the very near future.
Zamalek’s president Mortada Mansour has told King Fut that West Brom are close to signing the 29-year-old defender on loan for the rest of the season, and they will have an option to sign him permanently for around £1 million in the summer.

Gabr, who has made it clear that he wants to play in England, will join compatriot Ahmed Hegazi in West Brom’s defensive ranks.
