Davy Propper joined Premier League Brighton and Hove Albion two years ago but could he return to the Eredivisie with Ajax?

Eredivisie champions Ajax are keen to bring Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Davy Propper back to Holland, according to the Argus.
Ajax won the Dutch top flight for the first time in five years last season while also reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, stunning Juventus and Real Madrid on their way to the final four.
The downside of this remarkable success is that the Amsterdam giants could see their uber-talented squad picked apart with Frenkie De Jong already sealing a big-money move to Barcelona. Fellow midfielders Donny Van de Beek and Hakim Ziyech could also be lured away.
So with Ajax potentially in need of a new midfielder or two, The Argus reports that Propper’s future at Brighton has suddenly come under question.

A £10 million signing from PSV Eindhoven in 2017 (Sky), Propper is apparently the kind of experienced play-maker Ajax are looking for with the club’s chiefs considering a bid for the 14-cap Netherlands international.
Ajax coach Erik Ten Haag is reportedly keen to work with the one-time Vitesse Arnhem play-maker at the Johan Cruyff Arena while technical director Mark Overmars is also a big fan of the 27-year-old.
