Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain could soon lose Adrien Rabiot and Liverpool want to lure him to the Premier League, according to reports.

Speaking to RMC last October, Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot admitted that he had a liking for one Premier League club.
“I would love to play in the Premier League, not necessarily one club in particular, even though I was very fond of Liverpool when I was young,” he said.
And these comments should be of real significance over the next few months. Because, according to ESPN, Liverpool are stepping up their attempts to bring Rabiot to Anfield in 2019.
It is common knowledge that the 23-year-old is out of contract next year and has so far resisted PSG’s efforts to tie him down to a long-term deal. As a result, it seems likely that he will be leaving the Parc des Princes for free or perhaps for a cut-price figure in January.
And Jurgen Klopp, who tried and failed to sign Rabiot when he was Borussia Dortmund’s head coach, is allegedly determined to ensure Liverpool are at the front of the queue.

ESPN claims that Klopp and Rabiot have spoken on the phone about potentially working together on Merseyside in the near future. It is understood that the current Premier League leaders have also been in touch with the midfielder’s mother, who also acts as his agent.
Signing Rabiot on a free transfer would be outstanding business, although it remains to be seen where he would fit into a Liverpool midfield recently boosted by the arrivals of Fabinho and Naby Keita.
