Henry Onyekuru signed for Premier League club Everton last summer but has impressed Serie A giants AC Milan on loan at Anderlecht in Belgium.

It seemed as if the speculation over the future of young Nigerian hotshot Henry Onyekuru had been put to bed when Everton beat off competition from across the continent to sign the KAS Eupen prodigy last summer for £7 million, as reported by the BBC.
But despite not even making his debut for the Merseyside giants, Onyekuru could once again find himself at the centre of a tug-of-war over the next couple of months.

The 20-year-old returned to the Belgian league in June as he awaits a work permit to play in the Premier League and has continued his extraordinary progression on loan at Anderlecht, scoring nine times in 14 starts in the top flight.
But is there a chance that Onyekuru will never be seen in an Everton shirt?
Tuttomercatoweb claimed that AC Milan were watching the Aspire Academy graduate in the Champions League back in November. And, as reported by Newsmondo, the Serie A giants could be set to step up their interest.

It is understood that Milan have continued to scout Onyekuru and he has become a key target for the club’s sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli. Newsmondo claim that the Rossoneri’s scouts have been very impressed with the African forward – and Onyekuru himself is intrigued by the Italian club’s interest.
It remains to be seen, however, whether Everton would be willing to sell a player they worked to hard to sign just a year ago – before he even pulls on that blue shirt.
