West Ham United have apparently been given the chance to sign Andre Silva.

West Ham United have been offered the chance to sign AC Milan misfit Andre Silva this summer, according to Football London, but it seems that Manuel Pellegrini’s side are going all out to sign Maxi Gomez instead.
With all due respect to West Ham, this story highlights just how far Silva has fallen in the last two years.
If any club in the Premier League, let alone The Hammers, had been offered the chance to sign the striker on the back of his 21-goal season at Porto in 2017, you can guarantee that they’d have seized the opportunity in the blinking of an eye.
Before Silva made that ill-fated £33 million move to AC Milan, he was one of the most coveted young strikers anywhere in Europe with many tipping him to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s spiritual successor in the Portuguese national team.
Now, he is little more than an expensive flop. Silva scored just twice in an awful debut season at Milan before a loan spell at Sevilla ended in disaster, too.

And with the Rossoneri being forced to sell to avoid further Financial Fair Play sanctions, they are desperate to find a buyer for the 23-year-old but that is proving easier said than done.
Football London claims that West Ham have been offered the chance to give Silva a fresh start but Gomez, who is on the verge of a £45 million move to the London Stadium from Celta Vigo (the Star), is their top priority.
Where does Silva go from here?
