Jean Michel Seri has endured a forgettable debut season in the Premier League for Fulham.
Jean Michel Seri plans to leave Fulham this summer as he has no interest in playing Championship football at Craven Cottage, as reported by Football London.
Fulham raised plenty of eyebrows when they spent over £100 million on new signings last summer in preparation for a return to the Premier League with Seri, a £22 million addition from Nice, joining the likes of Andre-Franck Zambo Anguissa, Alfie Mawson and Luciano Vietto in West London.
But after starting well and showing the kind of form that saw Seri heavily linked with the likes of Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, the Ivory Coast international has struggled badly with Fulham stuck in the relegation zone.
Football London reports that the Cottagers were hopeful of keeping hold of Seri but the midfielder’s representatives have already received a number of offers from interested parties.
A return to France, where the 27-year-old established himself as one of the continent’s most coveted play-makers, looks the most likely.
It is claimed that Fulham would likely have to accept a substantial loss on a player they signed for big money a year ago.
