Lazar Markovic has not made a Premier League appearance since Jurgen Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool in 2015.

Lazar Markovic has been stealing a living at Anfield for far too long.
Despite taking home a hefty £50,000 a week, the Serbian outcast has not made a single Premier League appearance since Jurgen Klopp became Liverpool manager three-and-a-half years ago.
And, after the Reds failed to offload him in the summer, Markovic has spent the first half of the season training with the club’s U23 squad.
It certainly sees a long-time since Liverpool paid Benfica £20 million for his services with the 24-year-old then known in some quarters as the ‘Balkan Messi’.
But, according to the Mail, Liverpool are hoping to finally find a buyer for Markovic this month. He is out of contract in the summer and the January transfer window represents the last chance for Klopp’s table-toppers to recoup at least some of their £20 million investment.

It is understood that there has been some interest from China but it is far from certain that the former Hull City loanee will follow former Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele to the Far East this month.
The CSL has once again emerged as a potential destination for some of Europe’s big names with Marko Arnautovic and Dimitri Payet also heavily linked with money-spinning switches to Chinese clubs.
