Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has been linked with Bundesliga giants Dortmund but could Andre Schurrle return to the Premier League?

‘Like replacing a horse with a donkey’.
It seems the average Crystal Palace fan has very little interest in swapping Wilfried Zaha for a winger who has scored a grand total of three league goals in the last two seasons.
According to Bild, Borussia Dortmund want to bring Zaha to Signal Iduna Park and could be willing to offer Andre Schurrle as part of the deal.
Considering that Palace have been linked with the German World Cup winner on a number of occasions in recent months, you can see why BVB might have hatched such a plan.

But the fact is that Schurrle simply is not the same player who set up Mario Gotze’s winning goal in that World Cup final four years ago. His reputation has plummeted since, to the point where he never really seemed to be in contention for a place in Joachim Low’s 23-man squad this summer.
Now 27, Schurrle arrived at Dortmund from Wolfsburg for a club-record £26 million in 2016. But barring a short-lived purple patch at the turn of the year, the former Chelsea forward has struggled to find form on a consistent basis.
Compare his form with that of Zaha, by far Palace’s best player in the last two seasons, and it is difficult to see why Roy Hodgson and co would even entertain this potential exchange deal.
